To install the SUNFORCE 80033 Solar String Lights with Remote Control, follow these steps:
1. Prior to installation, lay out all components and check against the parts list in the instruction manual.
2. Mount the solar panel outdoors in a location that maximizes sun exposure. Use either the mounting bracket or the ground stake, depending on your preference.
- For the mounting bracket: Install the bracket using the provided wall plugs and screws. Attach the mounting base to the back of the solar panel and slide it onto the bracket. Adjust the angle of the solar panel for optimal sun exposure.
- For the ground stake: Connect the two parts of the stake and insert the grooved section into the protruding arm of the solar panel. Insert the stake into the ground.
3. Choose the desired mounting method for the string lights. You can use standard S hooks, xxxx hooks, cable tie wraps, nails, or screws to mount the lights temporarily or permanently. You can also attach the lights to a pre-installed guide wire or create a draping effect by attaching the first and last bulbs to a structure.
4. Connect the solar panel to the string lights by inserting the plug located after the final bulb into the wire coming from the solar panel. Tighten the plug by screwing the seal over the connection point.
5. Test the bulbs for illumination by turning the switch on the solar panel to the ON position. The bulbs should illuminate. If they do, turn the switch to OFF and continue with the installation.
6. After an initial 3-day charge with the solar panel in the OFF position, the included batteries will be fully charged. You can now use the remote control to turn the bulbs on and off. The solar panel should be left in the ON position for regular usage.
7. If you need to replace the batteries in the remote control, locate the battery compartment on the edge of the remote control. Push the tab to the right and slide out the compartment. Replace the battery with the same characteristics as the one removed, ensuring the correct polarity.
