If the outside temperature is not registering on your La Crosse Wireless Color Weather Station, there are a few possible reasons. First, make sure that the batteries you have inserted into the Outdoor Sensor are fully charged and have a voltage of 1.5 or better. If you are unsure, try using brand new batteries that are fresh off the store shelf. The sync-up process requires the batteries to be at a sufficient voltage. Additionally, ensure that the Outdoor Sensor is placed in a shaded location outside. Direct sunlight can affect the accuracy of the temperature readings. If the issue persists, it is recommended to refer to the troubleshooting section of the user manual or contact La Crosse Technology's customer support for further assistance.
