The iHealth ICO-3000 COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test provides three possible test results: positive, negative, or invalid.
1. Positive Result: A positive result indicates that viral antigens from COVID-19 were detected, and the individual is positive for COVID-19. A positive result must show both a C line (control line) and a T line (test line). Please note that the T line may be faint. If you test positive, you should self-isolate and seek follow-up care with your physician or healthcare provider for additional testing and public health reporting.
2. Negative Result: A negative result indicates that viral antigens from COVID-19 were not detected, and the individual is presumed negative for COVID-19. A negative result will show only a C line (control line). However, negative results do not rule out COVID-19. If you have suspicions of infection or continue to experience symptoms, follow all social distancing recommendations, take protective measures, and consult your healthcare provider or local COVID-19 center for further guidance.
3. Invalid Result: An invalid result means that the test did not function correctly. If there is no line or only a T line, the test is invalid. An invalid result does not indicate if the individual did or did not have COVID-19 and should be repeated. If upon retesting, the result is still invalid, contact your doctor or local COVID-19 center for further assistance.
It is important to follow the instructions provided in the manual and use the iHealth COVID-19 Antigen Rapid Test correctly to obtain accurate results.
