Cleaning the Power Cooker Digital Pressure Cooker is important to maintain its performance and longevity. Here are step-by-step instructions on how to clean the Power Cooker:
1. Unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the removable pot and lid from the cooker.
3. Rinse the pot and lid under hot running water.
4. Use a mild liquid detergent and a soft cloth, sponge, or nylon scrubber to clean the pot and lid. Avoid using abrasive powders, bicarbonate of soda, or bleach.
5. Rinse off the pot and lid with clean water.
6. Towel dry the pot and lid.
7. Clean the safety devices, including the pressure release valve and float valve, by removing them and washing them with mild detergent and warm running water. Check that the valves move freely and are free from any blockage.
