Cleaning the filter in your Samsung dishwasher is an important step to ensure optimal performance. Here are the steps to clean the filter:
1. Open the dishwasher door and remove the lower rack.
2. Locate the filter handle in the bottom center of the dishwasher.
3. Turn the filter handle counterclockwise to unlock the filter cover.
4. Lift the filter cover and remove the cylindrical micro filter underneath.
5. Rinse both the micro filter and the filter cover under running water to remove any dirt and impurities.
6. Use a soft brush or cloth to gently scrub away any stubborn residue.
7. Dry the filter and filter cover thoroughly before reinserting them back into the dishwasher.
8. Make sure the filter is properly aligned and the filter cover is securely locked by turning the filter handle clockwise.
Regularly cleaning the filter will help maintain the dishwasher's performance and prevent clogs. It is recommended to clean the filter at least once a month or more frequently if you notice any issues with cleaning performance.
