To connect the ZOSI Digital Video Recorder (DVR) to the internet, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your DVR is connected to your router using an Ethernet cable.
2. On your DVR, right-click the mouse and go to Main Menu > Setup > Network.
3. Tick the option "Obtain IP address automatically".
4. Click "Test". If "OK" is displayed, it means the network is connected successfully. Note: Make sure DHCP is enabled on your router.
5. Download and install the Zosi Smart App on your smartphone.
6. Open the app and tap "Register". Input your email address to receive a validation code. Set up a password and save it to complete the registration.
7. Login to the app and go to the main interface (My Device).
8. Tap the "+" icon in the upper right corner to add devices.
9. Enter the device UID by scanning the code or manually typing it. Enter the device password (if applicable) and device name.
10. Click "Finish" to enter the device page and perform device operations. The added devices will be listed at the top of the device page.
11. Go back to the Device list, tap the device, and tap "+" to select the desired channel(s) for preview.
12. Tap "Confirm" to start the preview.
Now you should be able to view the footage from your ZOSI DVR remotely on your smartphone using the Zosi Smart App.
