To connect your iRobot j7+ Roomba Robot Vacuum Cleaner to Wi-Fi, please follow these steps:
1. Download the iRobot Home App: Start by downloading the iRobot Home App on your smartphone or tablet. The app is available for both iOS and Android devices and can be found in the respective app stores.
2. Create an iRobot account: Open the iRobot Home App and create a new account. If you already have an iRobot account, you can sign in using your existing credentials.
3. Power on your Roomba: Ensure that your Roomba is powered on and in close proximity to your Wi-Fi router.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: In the iRobot Home App, tap on the "+" icon to add a new robot. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your robot model (j7+), and then tap on "Connect to Wi-Fi".
5. Enter Wi-Fi credentials: The app will prompt you to enter your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password. Make sure to enter the correct credentials and double-check for any typos.
6. Connect your Roomba: Once you have entered the Wi-Fi credentials, the app will attempt to connect your Roomba to your Wi-Fi network. This process may take a few moments. Please ensure that your smartphone or tablet is connected to the same Wi-Fi network during this step.
7. Successful connection: If the connection is successful, you will see a confirmation message in the app. Your Roomba is now connected to Wi-Fi and you can control it remotely using the iRobot Home App.
