Yes, you can change the resolution on the camera. The SCA Full HD 1080P Dash Cam offers two resolution options: 1920x1080 at 30fps (1080p) and 1280x720 at 30fps (720p). By selecting the 720p resolution, you will be able to get more recording time on the SD card. According to the manual, with an 8GB SD card, you can record approximately 100 minutes of footage at 720p, 72 minutes at 1080p. With a 16GB SD card, you can record approximately 200 minutes at 720p, 140 minutes at 1080p. With a 32GB SD card, you can record approximately 400 minutes at 720p, 280 minutes at 1080p.
