To set up the Shark IQ Robot and Self-Empty Base, please follow these steps:
1. Remove all plastic films from the robot before use. The robot may take up to 15 seconds to turn on. It will say "Hello, let's get cleaning" when it's ready to use.
2. Place the Self-Empty Base in an open, central location with its back against the wall. Connect the cord to the port on the back of the base, and then plug the cord into an outlet. The indicator light on the base will turn green.
3. Charge the robot by placing it two feet away from the base and pressing the Dock button on the robot. The robot will dock with the base and start charging. The evacuation of debris from the robot into the Self-Empty Base will occur after the robot docks successfully. When the robot is docked and charging, the battery and base indicator lights will turn blue. When charging is complete, the BATTERY indicator on the robot will illuminate steadily in blue.
4. Download the Shark Clean app by scanning the QR code or searching for "Shark Clean" in the app store. Follow the instructions on the other side of the manual for pairing the robot with the app. Alternatively, you can press the Clean button on the robot to send it into action without using the app.
