To clean the filters of the Shark Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Unplug the power cord before performing any maintenance.
2. Remove the dust cup by pressing the release button and pulling it away from the vacuum.
3. Open the dust cup lid and remove the filters.
4. Rinse the filters with cold water only. Do not use soap.
5. Gently squeeze and shake the filters to remove excess water.
6. Allow the filters to air-dry completely for at least 24 hours before reinstalling them.
7. Once the filters are dry, place them back into the dust cup and close the lid.
8. Reattach the dust cup to the vacuum by aligning the tabs and pressing it firmly until it clicks into place.
Cleaning the filters regularly will help maintain the suction power of your vacuum. If the suction power does not improve after cleaning the filters, refer to the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual or contact SharkNinja customer service for further assistance.
