To set up your Spectrum WiFi 6 Router, follow these steps:
1. Connect the router to your modem: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the WAN (Internet) port on the router to the Ethernet port on your modem.
2. Power on the router: Plug the power adapter into the router and connect it to a power outlet. The router will start booting up, indicated by a blue flashing LED status light on the front panel.
3. Connect to the router: On your device (computer, smartphone, or tablet), go to the list of available WiFi networks and select the network name (SSID) printed on the router label. Enter the network password also provided on the label.
4. Access the router settings: Open a web browser and enter "192.168.1.1" in the address bar. Press Enter to access the router's login page.
5. Log in to the router: Enter the default username and password printed on the router label. If you have personalized your login credentials, use those instead.
6. Set up your WiFi network: Once logged in, you can personalize your WiFi network name (SSID) and password. Look for the "Wireless" or "WiFi" settings section in the router's interface.
7. Save your settings: After making any changes, be sure to save your settings. Look for a "Save" or "Apply" button in the router's interface.
8. Connect devices: Now that your WiFi network is set up, you can connect your devices to it. Go to the WiFi settings on your devices, select your network name, and enter the password.
That's it! Your Spectrum WiFi 6 Router should now be set up and ready to use. If you encounter any issues during the setup process, refer to the user guide or contact Spectrum support for further assistance.
