According to the instruction manual, the True HEPA filter should be replaced every 12 months under normal usage conditions. The UV-C bulb is designed to last for approximately 10,000 hours of use. The replace filter indicator on the air purifier will illuminate when it is time to replace the filter. To replace the HEPA-type filter, unplug the air purifier, remove the grille cover, and pull the tabs to remove the old filter. Insert the new HEPA-type filter with the filter tabs facing outward, and then reassemble the air purifier. For the UV-C bulb replacement, unplug the air purifier, remove the HEPA-type filter, and unscrew the 2 screws on the UV-C bulb cover. Remove the cover, replace the UV-C bulb, and reassemble the air purifier. It is recommended to use genuine HoMedics replacement filters for optimal performance.
