Sure! Here are step-by-step instructions on how to use the Bissell Little Green Proheat:
1. Fill the clean water/solution tank: Lift the tank straight up and away from the unit. Pull the black tab to reveal the tank opening. Add water to the indicated fill line on the tank. Add the Bissell formula to the indicated fill line on the tank. Replace the plug by rotating it into place and pressing gently onto the tank. Replace the tank by lining the tank bottom with the indentations on the machine and press down firmly to secure it.
2. Pre-treat heavily stained or soiled areas (if necessary): Check the manufacturer's tag on the upholstery to ensure it can be cleaned with the machine. Twist the quick release cord wrap clockwise to unwrap the power cord. Plug in the unit and press the power button beneath the handle to turn it on. Release the flex hose from the hose grip bracket and unwrap the flex hose completely from around the unit. Select the desired tool for spot cleaning and insert it on the end of the hose until it clicks into place. Hold the tool just above the carpet or upholstery to be cleaned and press the trigger to mist the solution over the soiled area. Let the solution set for 5 minutes before cleaning.
3. Cleaning with tools: Attach the desired tool to the handheld cleaning hose. Press the spray trigger to mist the solution over and onto the soiled area. Gently scrub the stain with the tool. To lift the stain away, apply downward pressure on the tool and slowly pull it toward you. Use "drying strokes" (without pressing down the trigger) to remove the remaining moisture. Repeat as needed.
4. Empty the dirty water tank: Turn off the machine and unplug it from the electrical outlet. Lift up on the tank from the base of the machine to remove it. Pull the tab to remove the plug from the tank. Carefully empty the dirty water tank. Close the tank plug and return the tank to the unit. Ensure the tank is secure before use.
