To connect your LG Sound Bar to your TV, you have a few options depending on the available ports on your TV. Here are the steps for each connection method:
1. HDMI ARC:
- Connect one end of an HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC (Audio Return Channel) port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI ARC port on the LG Sound Bar.
- Turn on your TV and Sound Bar.
- On your TV, go to the settings menu and select the audio output options.
- Choose the HDMI ARC option to route the audio from your TV to the Sound Bar.
2. Optical Cable:
- Connect one end of an optical cable to the optical audio output port on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the optical cable to the optical input port on the LG Sound Bar.
- Turn on your TV and Sound Bar.
- On your TV, go to the settings menu and select the audio output options.
- Choose the optical audio option to route the audio from your TV to the Sound Bar.
3. RCA Cable:
- Connect the red and white RCA cables to the corresponding audio output ports on your TV.
- Connect the other end of the RCA cables to the RCA input ports on the LG Sound Bar.
- Turn on your TV and Sound Bar.
- On your TV, go to the settings menu and select the audio output options.
- Choose the RCA audio option to route the audio from your TV to the Sound Bar.
Once you have connected the Sound Bar to your TV, make sure to select the correct input source on the Sound Bar using the remote control.
