To manually advance the cutting line on the Greenworks String Trimmer, follow these steps:
1. Stop the machine and release the trigger.
2. Wait for two seconds and then push the trigger again to resume trimming.
3. The line will extend approximately 0.4 inches with each stop and start of the switch trigger until the line reaches the cut-off blade and the excess length is cut off.
4. If the cutting line does not automatically advance, it may be tangled or empty. Stop the machine and follow the manual instructions to manually advance the cutting line.
5. Push the spool retainer button located on the side of the trimmer head and pull on the cutting line to manually advance it.
6. After extending the new cutting line, make sure to return the machine to its normal position before starting it again.
