To set up the Ingenico Move 5000 Payment Terminal, follow these steps:
1. Find a convenient location close to a power source and an Ethernet socket for your base unit.
2. Connect one end of the Ethernet cable to your Ethernet socket or router and the other end to the socket located on the rear of your base unit.
3. If you want to connect the base unit to a telephone point, remove the back panel and connect one end of the telephone cable to the modem socket on your base unit.
4. The Move 5000 terminal offers multiple connectivity options, including Ethernet, Mobile Network, and WiFi/Bluetooth. To set up a mobile connection, insert the SIM card into the back of the terminal and reboot using the dot key and yellow key.
5. For Bluetooth setup, ensure that the terminal is already paired with the base unit. To associate your terminal with a Bluetooth base, go to the Terminal Control panel by pressing the F3 key on the 'Ready' screen. Select 'Control Panel', 'Terminal Settings', 'Communication means', and 'Bluetooth'. Then select 'Base', 'Association', and 'New Base'.
6. To connect to WiFi, press F3, select 'Control Panel', 'Terminal settings', 'Communication Means', 'WiFi', 'Scan Networks', choose your selected network, and enter the password.
7. Once all the connectivity methods are connected, you will see them enabled (green) in the bar below.
