Installing a CPU on the MSI B560M PLUS, B560M PRO-E, and H510M PRO motherboards is a straightforward process. Here are the step-by-step instructions:
1. Before starting, make sure the power cord is unplugged from the power outlet and the computer case is open.
2. Locate the CPU socket on the motherboard. It is a square socket with multiple small holes.
3. Lift the CPU socket lever to the open position. This will release the CPU socket cover.
4. Carefully remove the CPU socket cover and set it aside.
5. Take the CPU out of its packaging. Hold the CPU by its edges, avoiding touching the pins or the bottom surface.
6. Align the notches on the CPU with the notches on the CPU socket. Make sure the CPU is oriented correctly.
7. Gently place the CPU into the socket, ensuring that all the pins on the CPU align with the holes in the socket.

9. Double-check that the CPU is securely installed by gently pressing down on it. It should not move or come loose.
10. Replace the CPU socket cover by aligning it with the socket and pressing it down until it clicks into place.
11. Close the computer case and plug in the power cord.
