Cleaning the brushes on the Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe is an important step to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the machine. Here are the steps to clean the brushes:
1. Turn off and unplug the carpet washer from the electrical outlet.
2. Remove the Clean Water/Solution Tank and the Dirty Water Tank from the machine.
3. Press the handle release pedal to lower the handle to the operating position.
4. Flip the machine over so that the brushes are facing up.
5. Locate the brush assembly, which is pre-assembled in the unit.
6. Use your fingers or a tool to remove any debris or tangled hair from the brushes. Be careful not to damage the bristles.
7. Rinse the brushes under running water to remove any remaining dirt or debris.
8. Gently shake the brushes to remove excess water.
9. Allow the brushes to air dry completely before reassembling the machine.
10. Once the brushes are dry, flip the machine back over and reattach the Clean Water/Solution Tank and the Dirty Water Tank.
11. You can now continue using the Hoover Power Scrub Deluxe to clean your carpets.
