To program your CHAMBERLAIN Universal Wireless Keypad, follow these steps:
1. Select and write a 4-digit PIN: Choose a 4-digit PIN that you will remember and write it down for reference.
2. Determine your opener ID: Refer to the list provided in the user manual to find the corresponding opener ID for your garage door opener brand and manufacturing date.
3. Press and hold the * and # buttons on the keypad until the keypad stops flashing.
4. Enter the 4-digit PIN you selected in step 1, and then press the # button.
5. Enter the opener ID you determined in step 2, and then press the # button.
6. Press and release the Smart/Learn button on your garage door opener.
7. Enter your 4-digit PIN on the keypad and press the 0 key. Note: For Genie and Overhead Door units, press the 0 key twice.
8. To test and use the keypad, wait until the lights turn off, enter your PIN, and then press the 0 key.
