To install and level your Indesit IWC 5125 washing machine, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Unpacking: Remove the washing machine from its packaging and ensure it has not been damaged during transportation. If there is any damage, contact the retailer and do not proceed with the installation.
2. Levelling: Install the washing machine on a flat sturdy floor, without resting it against walls or furniture. If the floor is not perfectly level, compensate for any unevenness by tightening or loosening the adjustable front feet. The angle of inclination, measured in relation to the worktop, must not exceed 2°. Levelling the machine correctly will provide stability, prevent vibrations, and ensure it does not shift during operation.
3. Connecting the electricity and water supplies: Connect the water inlet hose by screwing it onto a cold water tap using a ¾ gas threaded connection. Before connecting, allow the water to run freely until it is clear. Then, connect the inlet hose to the corresponding water inlet on the rear part of the washing machine. Make sure the hose is not folded or bent. For the drain hose, connect it to a drainage duct or wall drain located at a height between 65 and 100 cm from the floor. Ensure the free end of the hose is not underwater.
4. First wash cycle: Once the installation is complete, run a wash cycle with detergent and no laundry using the wash cycle 2. This will help clean the machine before using it for the first time.
