To adjust the temperature in your Whirlpool refrigerator, you can use the Temperature control located at the top front of the refrigerator compartment. The control is preset at the factory, but you can adjust it if needed. Here are the steps to adjust the temperature:
1. Locate the Temperature control at the top front of the refrigerator compartment.
2. Press the SETTING button to toggle among the three LED lights, which indicate the temperature setting. The LED in the first position is the least cold, and the LEDs indicate increasingly colder settings as you continue to the right until all three LEDs are illuminated.
3. Adjust the temperature by pressing the SETTING button until the desired LED light is illuminated.
4. Wait 24 hours between adjustments for the temperature to stabilize.
5. If you need to adjust the temperature in the freezer compartment, you can also adjust the Airflow control located on the back wall of the freezer compartment. The control regulates the amount of air flowing between the freezer and refrigerator compartments. The Recommended setting is usually sufficient, but you can adjust it if needed.
