To install the Carrier SYSTXCCUID01-V Infinity Control Thermostat, follow these steps:
1. Read the entire instruction manual before starting the installation.
2. Make sure to follow all safety codes and wear appropriate safety gear.
3. Choose a location for the Infinity Control that is easily accessible and visible to the homeowner.
4. Mount the Infinity Control approximately 5 feet from the floor, on an inside partitioning wall, and away from direct light or heat sources.
5. Route the thermostat wiring according to the provided wiring diagram, using 22 AWG or larger thermostat wire.
6. Connect the thermostat wires to the proper terminals on the User Interface backplate, following the recommended color code (A = Green, B = Yellow, C = White, D = Red).
7. Secure the backplate to the wall using the provided screws and anchors.
8. Attach the Infinity Control to the mounting plastic by aligning the plastic guides on the back of the control with the opening on the mounting plastic and pushing it on.
9. Complete the installation of any other system equipment, such as dampers, humidifiers, ventilators, and UV lights.
10. Turn on power to the equipment.
