To set up the Starlink Rectangular Satellite-Internet Dish, please follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Find a clear view of the sky: It is important to ensure that the dish has an unobstructed view of the sky. Use the "Check for Obstructions" tool in the Starlink App to find the best installation location with a clear view.
2. Plug Starlink in: Insert the Starlink device into the base and plug it into a power outlet. The device will automatically level itself and search for satellites overhead. Do not attempt to manually adjust the dish.
3. Connect to Wi-Fi: On your device, go to the Wi-Fi settings and find the STARLINK network. Connect to it. A browser window will open, prompting you to enter a new SSID (Network name) and password. This step is optional but recommended.
4. Troubleshooting: If you encounter any issues, open the Starlink App to check for alerts, outages, or obstructions. Make sure all connections are secure and there is no damage to the hardware or cables. Confirm that you are at the correct service address listed on your account. You can also try power cycling the Starlink device by unplugging it from power and then plugging it back in. If the issue persists, contact Starlink Customer Support through your account on starlink.com.
