To connect the Samsung Galaxy SmartTag to your mobile device, follow these steps:
1. Install the SmartThings app on your mobile device. You can download the app from the Galaxy Store or Play Store, depending on your Samsung Android mobile device.
2. Launch the SmartThings app and update it to the latest version.
3. Press the button on the SmartTag. The SmartTag will make a sound and be activated.
4. When the pop-up window appears on your mobile device, informing you that your SmartTag is detected, tap "Add now". If the pop-up window doesn't appear, select "+ → Device → Tag/Tracker" in the app.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection. Once the connection is complete, your SmartTag will appear in the list of devices in the SmartThings app.
6. To view the location of your SmartTag, tap on the SmartTag card in the app and select "View map". The current location of the device will be displayed on the map.
Note: The SmartTag's location is based on GPS and Wi-Fi positioning results from the connected mobile device or nearby Android devices. The SmartTag's usage time may vary depending on the user's environment and usage pattern.
