To install the exhaust hose for your Arctic King Portable Air Conditioner, follow these steps:
1. Press the exhaust hose into the window slider adaptor and unit adaptor, ensuring that the elastic buckles of the adaptors clamp onto the hose automatically.
2. Insert the unit adaptor of the exhaust hose assembly into the lower groove of the air outlet of the unit, aligning the hook of the adaptor with the hole seat of the air outlet. Slide the exhaust hose assembly down along the direction indicated by the arrow for installation.
3. Depending on the type of window you have, choose the appropriate installation method:
- For hung window installation: Cut adhesive foam seal strips A and B to the proper lengths and attach them to the window sash and frame. Insert the window slider assembly into the window opening. Cut non-adhesive foam seal strip C to match the width of the window and insert it between the glass and window frame. If desired, install the security bracket with screws. Insert the window slider adaptor into the hole of the window slider.
- For sliding window installation: Cut adhesive foam seal strips A and B to the proper lengths and attach them to the window sash and frame. Insert the window slider assembly into the window opening. Cut non-adhesive foam seal strip C to match the window height and insert it between the glass and window frame. If desired, install the security bracket with screws. Insert the window slider adaptor into the hole of the window slider.
4. Ensure that the exhaust hose is secure and there are no leaks. Direct the hose toward the drain and make sure the end of the hose is directed downward to allow water to flow smoothly.
