To program the Angrox Universal Remote Control for your Samsung TV, you have three options: Direct Code Entry, Auto Code Search, and Brand Code Search. Here are the steps for each method:
1. Direct Code Entry:
- Turn on the device (your Samsung TV) that you want to control.
- Long press the appropriate device button on the remote control until the LEDs and power buttons of the device light up.
- Enter the code for your Samsung TV's brand while holding down the device button on the remote. Start with the first code if there are multiple codes for your brand. The power button on the remote will turn off as you enter the code.
- Keep holding the device button after entering the code. If the power button on the remote stays on and lights up, you have entered the correct code. If it blinks many times, the code is incorrect. Repeat the code entry process for each code until one of them works.
- After programming, check if the universal remote controls the basic features of your Samsung TV, such as power, volume, channel, and source input.
2. Auto Code Search:
- Turn on your Samsung TV or the device you want to control.
- Press and hold the device button on the remote control that corresponds to the product you want to control (TV, etc.).
- Press the Device Button and the POWER button simultaneously once more. The power button will turn off and on several times.
- Release both buttons at the same time.
- Wait a few seconds after pressing and releasing the PLAY button on the remote to see if the device you're trying to control turns off. If it does, the correct code has been found. If not, press the play button again and follow the on-screen instructions to wait and switch it off. Repeat this process until your device turns off.
- Press the Stop button to save the code.
- Test various functions on the remote to check if they work for your Samsung TV.
3. Brand Code Search:
- Turn on the Samsung TV or the device you want to control.
- Find the Brand Code(s) for your Samsung TV from the list that came with your Universal Remote Control.
- Press and hold the DEVICE button (TV, DVD, Aux, etc.) on the remote until the LED for that button turns on and stays on.
- Press and hold the POWER button while holding the device button; the power button should light up.
- Turn off the power and press the device button. The device button should always be turned on.
- Enter the first CODE of the brand on the universal remote's keypad. The device button's LED light should remain on.
- Repeat pressing and releasing the Power button until the device you're trying to control turns off. This indicates that the Universal Remote has found the correct code.
- Press the STOP button on your universal remote to save the code.
- Check if your Universal Remote can now control your Samsung TV by testing various buttons (volume, etc.).
