To set up the eMeet C960 1080P Webcam on your computer, please follow these steps:
1. Place your webcam: Find a suitable location for your webcam where it can be securely mounted or placed on a stable surface.
2. Connect your webcam: Plug the USB cable of the webcam into an available USB port on your computer. Make sure the connection is secure.
3. For Mac OS X Users:
- The webcam should be automatically installed when connected to a Mac. No additional software is required.
- Open camera software such as Quick Time, Photo Booth, Skype, or FaceTime to start streaming the video.
- To check if the webcam is detected, click the Apple Menu, then click "About this Mac." Go to the USB section to see if the webcam is listed as "HD Webcam eMeet C960."
4. For Windows Users:
- The eMeet Webcam is compatible with most Windows operating systems.
- Right-click on the Start or Windows icon and choose "Device Manager" from the menu.
- In the Device Manager, find the Cameras Devices (may show as Audio Controller, Video and Games in Windows 7 or Vista) and check if "HD Webcam eMeet C960" is listed. If not, try reconnecting the camera or using a different USB port.
5. Setting up audio:
- Make sure the eMeet webcam is selected as the input device in the application you are using.
- In Mac's System Preferences, go to the Sound pane, select the Input tab, and choose the webcam's microphone ("HD Webcam eMeet C960") as the system default.
- In Windows, open the Control Panel, go to the Sound or Sound and Audio Devices panel, and select the webcam as the default device under Recording.
