To connect the Coleman Filter Pump to your pool, follow these steps:
1. Determine the type of connection your pool has (2 connections or 3 connections).
2. If your pool has 2 connections (A-B), connect one hose to port B of the filter pump and the other hose to port B of the pool. Then, connect one hose to port A of the filter pump and the other hose to port A of the pool. Open the connection valves to allow water to flow. Before starting the filter pump, open the purge valve to remove any residual air inside the filter pump.
3. If your pool has 3 connections (A-B-B), connect one hose to port B of the pool and attach a T-connector to the hose. Connect one hose to port B of the filter pump and the other hose to port A of the filter pump. Finally, connect the hose from port A of the filter pump to port A of the pool. Open the connection valves to allow water to flow. Before starting the filter pump, open the purge valve to remove any residual air inside the filter pump.
