According to the user manual, the filter for the ARCTIC Air Tower should be changed every 3-6 months for best performance.
However, it is recommended to clean the filter on a weekly basis to keep it in the best working condition.
If you notice mold on the filter or a musty smell, it is important to clean the filter before further use.
You can soak the filter with equal parts clean water and white vinegar for 45-60 minutes, rinse with warm water, and let it air dry.
It is also mentioned that the filter can be placed in the top rack of a dishwasher for cleaning or hand washed with warm water and soap.
