To set the timer on your Smeg oven, follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Press the cooking buttons together. This will allow you to access the timer settings.
2. Immediately press the +/- buttons until the correct time is displayed. For example, if you want to set a timer for 1 hour, press the "+" button 60 times.
3. After setting the desired cooking time, the clock will automatically reappear after 5 seconds, and the symbol "A" will be displayed.
4. At the end of the set cooking time, a beeper will sound, and the oven will turn off.
5. To stop the beeper, press the bell button.
If you want to check the remaining time during the countdown, press the timer button, and the remaining cooking time will be displayed for 5 seconds. Similarly, if you want to check what time the cooking will finish, press the timer button again, and the clock will display the cooking finish time for 5 seconds.
If you need to reset the cooking timer, you can either follow step 4 and set the timer to 0:00, or press the timer button again, and the clock will be displayed, ready for changing. The timer will display 0:00 the next time the timer button is pressed.
