To set up the Coleman 90363 SaluSpa Inflatable Hot Tub, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: Ensure the base where the SaluSpa will be installed is smooth, flat, level, and capable of supporting the weight of the spa, water, and users. If placing the spa indoors, consider the effects of humidity and provide adequate ventilation. If placing the spa outdoors, ensure it is near a floor drain to handle water spillage.
2. Perform a GFCI test: Before turning on the pump, plug the GFCI into a power outlet. Press the reset button and ensure the indicator turns off. Press the test button and ensure the indicator turns off. Press the reset button again, and the indicator should turn red, indicating the spa is ready for use. If the test fails, contact Bestway's After Sales Service.
3. Inflate the spa: Use the provided inflation hose to connect the motor to the spa's inflation valve. Turn on the motor to inflate the spa. Ensure the air valve is tight to prevent air leaks.
4. Check the water flow sensors: Ensure the water flow sensors are in the correct position and not obstructed. If the sensors do not detect water flow, check if the stopper caps inside the pool have been removed and if the filter cartridges are dirty. Clean or replace the filter cartridges if necessary.
5. Fill the spa with water: Use a hose to fill the spa with water. Do not exceed the maximum water level indicated in the manual. Ensure the spa is filled before operating the pump to avoid damage to the pump.
6. Set the desired temperature: Use the temperature adjustment buttons on the control panel to set the desired water temperature. The default temperature is 35°C (95°F), and the range is 20°C (68°F) to 40°C (104°F).
7. Activate the heating and filtration systems: Press the heat button to activate the heating system. The light above the heat button will turn red. The filtration system will automatically start when the heating system is activated.
8. Enjoy the spa: Once the spa is heated to the desired temperature, you can enjoy the hot tub experience. Use the massage system button to activate the bubble jets for a relaxing massage.
