To connect the Samsung Soundbar to your Samsung TV, you can use either a digital optical cable or a Bluetooth connection.
Please note that the availability of these connection options may vary depending on your specific TV model and Soundbar version. Refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and troubleshooting tips.
1. Digital Optical Cable Connection:
- Connect one end of the digital optical cable to the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (OPTICAL) jack on the Soundbar.
- Connect the other end of the digital optical cable to the OPTICAL OUT jack on your TV.
- Press the (Source) button on the Soundbar or remote control, and select the "D.IN" mode.
- Make sure the TV's audio output is set to "PCM" or "Dolby Digital" for better sound quality.
2. Bluetooth Connection:
- Press the PAIR button on the remote control to enter the "BT PAIRING" mode on the Soundbar.
- On your Samsung TV, go to the Bluetooth settings and select "[AV] Samsung Soundbar R4-Series" from the list of available devices.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the pairing process.
- Once connected, you can hear the TV sound through the Soundbar wirelessly.
