To set up your Wyze Cam Pan v3 with Amazon Alexa, follow these steps:
- First, ensure that your Wyze Cam Pan v3 is set up and working properly through the Wyze app on your smartphone.
- Open the Amazon Alexa app on your smartphone.
- Tap the menu icon located at the top-left corner of the screen, and select 'Skills & Games'.
- Search for the 'Wyze' skill using the search bar.
- Select the 'Wyze' skill from the search results and tap 'Enable to Use'.
- You will be prompted to sign in to your Wyze account to link it with Alexa. Enter your Wyze account credentials and authorize the connection.
- Once linked, ask Alexa to "discover devices." You can also manually add the camera by navigating to 'Devices' > 'Add Device' in the Alexa app.
- Your Wyze Cam Pan v3 should now appear in the list of devices in the Alexa app. You can now control your camera with voice commands.
- To receive notifications, go to your Wyze Cam Pan v3 settings in the Alexa app, and enable 'Announcements' for person or motion detection.
Now you can use voice commands such as "Alexa, show [Camera Name]" to view your camera's live feed on an Echo Show device or receive announcements when the camera detects motion or a person.
